KOJIĆ: SERBS MUST DECLARE THEY WILL NOT BE RULED BY A COLONIAL TOURIST
SREBRENICA, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ - The President of the Srebrenica Organization of Families of Captured and Fallen Soldiers and Missing Civilians Branimir Kojić told SRNA that Serbs in Republika Srpska, especially in the Podrinje region, must finally declare that they will not allow themselves to be ruled by a "colonial tourist" who imagines himself as absolute authority.
"We must raise our heads and say - enough! We want freedom, and we will not accept being ruled here by a colonial tourist. Our loved ones did not give their lives defending Republika Srpska so that it could be governed by foreigners or a clique from Sarajevo. It was entrusted to us to protect, preserve, and develop what more than 30,000 of the best sons and daughters gave their lives for," Kojić stressed. He called on municipal officials of Srebrenica and Bratunac to urgently convene sessions of their assemblies to adopt the Declaration of the Association of Municipalities and Cities, which rejects the ruling against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. "If there were justice, the initiative for a referendum on the independence of Republika Srpska would begin here, because all attacks on Srpska and its representatives, as well as on the Serbian people, originate precisely from Srebrenica and Podrinje," Kojić emphasized. He added that this Declaration should have been adopted first in the municipalities of Bratunac and Srebrenica, given that Podrinje is one of the most afflicted regions, where 3,267 Serbs, mostly civilians, were killed. "Unfortunately, this has not yet happened. Therefore, the families of captured and fallen soldiers and missing civilians are appealing, above all, to Serb assembly members to convene sessions and demonstrate that the Serb people stand with the institutions of Republika Srpska," Kojić concluded.
