MINIĆ: ECONOMIC-SOCIAL COUNCIL SHOULD PROPOSE MINIMUM WAGE

BANJALUKA, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister-designate Savo Minić stated today that it is high time for the Economic-Social Council of Republika Srpska to function properly and that this body should be the one to propose the minimum wage.
Minić said he has ordered amendments to the rulebook regulating the operation of this council. “For several years, we have not received a proposal for the minimum wage, and this had to be done by the Government,” Minić said at a press conference in Banja Luka following consultations with social partners. He added that he was pleased that a positive atmosphere and energy prevailed during the consultations.
