DODIK: FBiH WILL NOT ELECT THE PRESIDENT OF SRPSKA!

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that the plans of Sarajevo and the Muslims to organize elections for the President of Republika Srpska in the Federation of BiH have been exposed, after the President of the CEC of BiH, Irena Hadžiabdić, stated following a session that voting could be conducted at polling stations in the FBiH if Srpska boycotts the process.

"She was honest enough to reveal everything we have been saying. They want the FBiH to elect the President of Republika Srpska!? Let them try, and then we’ll see how they bring one from the FBiH. I am not threatening with force, but I believe people will take to protests," Dodik, who is also the leader of SNSD, said at a press conference in Banja Luka following a meeting of the Main Board of the SNSD Youth Organization. He stressed that he encourages the CEC to organize presidential elections that Republika Srpska will boycott, and asked how voting would be conducted in Sarajevo, Tuzla, or Zenica. "That is further proof. She revealed the Muslim plan. This Muslim plan was clear even during previous elections when they decided that votes for the President of Republika Srpska would be counted in Zetra, the Federation, and Sarajevo, and not in Republika Srpska. With this, they sent the message: if you want a president, he must be confirmed in Sarajevo," Dodik said. He added that he will not accept such Republika Srpska. "Just organize it and we'll see how you will bring a president here. I will continue performing my duties as I have until now. As the National Assembly of Republika Srpska has stated, I have no intention of withdrawing from any of this," Dodik emphasized. He thanked the CEC members who exposed the plans. "Now I have a better day. They want to elect the president in the Federation. Excellent! Go ahead!" Dodik said.
