STEVANDIĆ: A MEMO HAS BEEN SENT TO PUBLISH THE DECISION TO APPOINT THE GOVERNMENT, I HOPE EVERYONE WILL DRAW APPROPRIATE LESSONS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nenad Stevandić told SRNA that the decision to appoint the new government, to be led by Savo Minić, has been sent to the Official Gazette for publication, thereby disproving claims made by certain opposition representatives and analysts regarding its appointment and legitimacy.

"It is not bad that everyone revealed their stance on this matter, which reflects more of a personal or political issue, or their attitude toward the leaders of Republika Srpska, rather than a rational and constitutional approach. We hope that everyone will draw the appropriate lessons," Stevandić said. Acting Director of the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska Miloš Lukić told SRNA that a document regarding the publication of the decision to appoint the new Republika Srpska Government has been submitted, and that following today’s publication, the choice of members of the National Assembly will be confirmed. The Chairwoman of the Council of Peoples of Republika Srpska, Srebrenka Golić, told SRNA today that the vital national interest of the Bosniaks regarding the appointment of the new Republika Srpska Government was not invoked, meaning the mandate can be assumed. The National Assembly of Republika Srpska appointed the new Government on September 2, which will be led by Savo Minić.
