CVIJANOVIĆ EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES FOLLOWING TERRORIST ATTACK IN JERUSALEM

EAST SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – The Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, held a phone conversation with Tzachi Hanegbi, Director of Israel’s National Security Council and National Security Advisor to the Israeli Prime Minister, during which she expressed condolences following today’s terrorist attack in Jerusalem.

During the conversation, Cvijanović emphasized that the friendship between Republika Srpska and the State of Israel is sincere and strong, which will remain so in the future. The two sides expressed readiness to continue communication and mutual visits, as well as to work together to further improve Israel - Republika Srpska relations, announced the Office of the Serb BiH Presidency member. According to current information, six people were killed in a shooting at the Ramot junction in Jerusalem, and more than 20 were wounded. Israeli authorities have declared the shooting a terrorist attack and released surveillance footage showing the initial moments of the attack, when armed men stormed a bus and began shooting.
