REPUBLIKA SRPSKA A SUBJECT OF INTERNATIONAL LAW - SARAJEVO POLITICIANS NEED TO LEARN THAT

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 10 /SRNA/ – Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, told SRNA that Sarajevo politicians must learn that Republika Srpska is a recognised subject of international law and must come to terms with the undeniable fact that the policies of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik are strengthening Srpska’s international position.

"The fact that these realities don’t suit /Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers/ Elmedin Konaković and the rest of the Muslim political structure is their problem," said Košarac, adding that Konaković is the last person who should be giving lessons to anyone, let alone Russia, a world power, sovereign state, and UN Security Council permanent member state. He emphasized that Republika Srpska has a clear position and that all of its activities are constitutional and in line with the Dayton Accords. "On the other hand, the goal of the Muslim political component is not the Dayton-based structure, but the Islamization of BiH. They do not want equality among the three constituent peoples, but rather absolute domination by the Bosniaks," Košarac stressed. Košarac noted that official Sarajevo has proven it does not support the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it unconditionally accepts Christian Schmidt’s occupation. "They accept his illegitimate, illegal, unconstitutional, and anti-Dayton decisions, implementing them through unconstitutional institutions – all with the full support of certain Western countries, starting with the United Kingdom," Košarac emphasized. He said that neither the West nor Muslim political structures support the Dayton Peace Agreement, which has been evident since the very first day the peace accord was signed. "From the start, they have worked in a joint effort to dismantle the Dayton-based structure, aiming to centralize and unitize BiH," said Košarac. Stating that Republika Srpska will not accept this, Košarac emphasized that thanks to Dodik’s nationally responsible policies, Republika Srpska has many international friends who understand and support its position, because they uphold and respect international law as a matter of principle. "This was clearly stated by President Dodik and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at yesterday’s meeting in Moscow. The Sarajevo political elite that used to spreading lies around the world, were upset by the Russian Federation’s determination to present the truth and the actual situation in BiH to the UN Security Council," Košarac noted. Asking why Sarajevo politicians are bothered by the truth, Košarac said they persistently attempt to deceive the international community in hopes of having the EU and NATO being their allies in supporting their unitary goals and the Islamisation of BiH. "That won’t do! The EU is not the only path BiH should take – especially not if the European path means continuing to dismantle the Dayton structure," Košarac concluded.
