MINIĆ: SERBIA AND REPUBLIKA SRPSKA ARE STRONGER TOGETHER
BELGRADE, 15 SEPTEMBER /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić stated that in a time of globalization and attacks against it, Republika Srpska expects support from Serbia in every sense, not because it cannot defend itself, but because they are stronger together.
Ahead of the academy in Belgrade, held as part of the celebration of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag and the 150th anniversary of the Nevesinje Rifle, Minić highlighted the significance of Serbian unity and the flag under which millions of heroes throughout history secured what we have today. He noted that it has never been more difficult to preserve Serbian unity and national identity. Minić emphasized the importance of distinguishing between homeland and state, pointing out that the homeland consists of the flag, faith, tradition, and the graves of our ancestors. “The moment we all clearly separate these two concepts in our minds, and recognize the homeland as something we revere and work for, we will always find space within the state and within what is called positive legal rights to also honor and respect it,” Minić concluded.
