GOGANOVIĆ: POST ABOUT TRAINING OF CADETS FROM BiH IN SERBIA REMOVED FROM FACEBOOK PAGE ON HELEZ’S ORDER

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 17 /SRNA/ – The information that today a contract was signed in the Ministry of Defense of the Council of Ministers on the training of four cadets from BiH in the Republic of Serbia was published on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Defense in the Council of Ministers, but was later removed.

When asked why the post was removed from the official Facebook page of the Ministry of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandar Goganović told SRNA that the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense orally informed him that this was done by order of the Minister of Defense’s Cabinet. Goganović said that he did not know the reasons for the removal of the post, but that it was obviously an attempt to degrade the Serbian staff in the defense system. "Colleague Helez, for the umpteenth time, is trying to degrade me and the function I perform, but unfortunately, with these ridiculous orders, he is degrading himself and the defense system," Goganović stressed. He said that with each new move by Helez, the international community is slowly realizing that the Ministry of Defense is headed by a man who does not support the multiethnic Armed Forces, but rather a person who is trying to turn the joint Armed Forces into the army of FBiH. "These attempts are doomed to failure from the start, because I will certainly not allow it," Goganović said. The contract on the training of cadets from BiH in Serbia was signed today, although Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, as he himself stated in May of this year, allegedly ordered the suspension of all activities arising from the plan of bilateral military cooperation between the Ministry of Defense in the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, which also includes the training of cadets in Serbia.
