MARTA KOS AND HER ILK WANT TO MAINTAIN COLONIAL ORDER IN BiH
PALE, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - All those hiding behind the rhetoric of alleged "secessionism" and "secessionist laws" in Republika Srpska, including Marta Kos, actually seek to maintain a colonial order in BiH, where foreigners would make decisions instead of the people’s elected representatives, Damjan Škipina, a member of the Republika Srpska National Assembly, told SRNA.
Škipina added that Republika Srpska does not pass laws to target anyone, but to protect its constitutional position and the basic rights guaranteed to it by the Dayton Agreement from various global power brokers. He emphasized that Kos has neither the legal nor moral authority to speak on laws in Republika Srpska, and certainly not to impose a narrative portraying Srpska as a "disruptive factor". "The opposite is true, as those who deny the BiH Constitution and Republika Srpska's competencies are the main destabilizing factor in BiH," Škipina stated, adding that Republika Srpska will continue to pass laws in accordance with the Constitution, regardless of pressure, as this is a matter of freedom and respect for the Republic, its institutions, and its people. He pointed out that Marta Kos' claims about "secessionist laws" are nothing more than an attempt to criminalize Republika Srpska's right to decide on matters concerning its own existence. "Republika Srpska is not the one violating the Dayton Agreement; it is precisely those who present themselves as its protectors who, in practice, undermine both the Constitution and the agreement between the two equal entities and the three constituent peoples. Marta Kos should know that Republika Srpska was not created by the will of foreign embassies, but through the sacrifice and struggle of the Serbian people, and that its laws are and will be decided exclusively by the National Assembly, not in Ljubljana, Brussels, or Sarajevo," Škipina said.
