BUDAPEST, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, said that Republika Srpska and Hungary share many common positions and believe that unelected foreign bureaucrats cannot impose their will on sovereign countries or on democratically elected representatives of the people, whether in BiH or in the EU.

"Prime Minister Viktor Orban is our great and trusted friend, and Hungary is an important and reliable partner to Republika Srpska. We are grateful to Hungary for its support and excellent cooperation. We have implemented numerous projects so far, and many more lie ahead," Cvijanović emphasized. She added that Republika Srpska and Hungary share many common positions, ranging from the protection of traditional values to the defense of their borders against illegal migration. "We stand on the side of sovereign policies and believe that unelected foreign bureaucrats cannot impose their will on sovereign countries or on democratically elected representatives of the people, whether in BiH or in the European Union," Cvijanović posted on social networks. She thanked the Hungarian Prime Minister for his warm hospitality, sincere friendship, and good understanding. Cvijanović and the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, held talks with Orban in Budapest today.
