KALUŽA: INTENSIFYING COOPERATION - MESSAGE THAT HUNGARY DOES NOT RECOGNIZE DECISIONS OF ILLEGAL FOREIGNER IN BiH

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ – At the meeting of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest, it was clearly stated that mutual cooperation will be intensified, which is also a message that Hungary does not recognize the decisions imposed in BiH by an illegal foreigner, assessed international relations expert Lučiano Kaluža.

Kaluža told SRNA that this is also a message to the EU that one of its member states is siding with justice and fairness in shaping the new geopolitical order. "Hungary definitely counts on Republika Srpska as a friend, and Srpska counts on Hungary, and such relations will certainly intensify in the coming period in many areas," Kaluža noted. He pointed out that, after Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, now the country's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also did not accept the decisions coming from institutions that operate unconstitutionally in BiH. "Orbán is doing nothing more than recognizing and respecting the acts of institutions within BiH, and not the decisions of the imposed foreigner who is trying to derogate the entire socio-political system," Kaluža stated. He added that Orbán's support for President Dodik clearly shows not only that Hungary is a friend of Srpska, but also that by supporting Republika Srpska, that country is supporting Dayton BiH, which is a clear message to all who are well-intentioned. After yesterday's meeting in Budapest, Orban posted on his account that it was a pleasure to meet with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. After the meeting in Budapest, Dodik said that talks on cooperation in all fields – from agriculture and the economy to politics – were continued, and that friendship with Hungary and Orban shows that Europe of common sense exists and that Republika Srpska has an ally in it. Cvijanović said that Republika Srpska and Hungary share many common views and believe that unelected foreign bureaucrats cannot impose their will on sovereign countries and democratically elected representatives of the people, neither in BiH nor in the EU.
