SRPSKA EXPLORES DEVELOPMENT PATHS FOR DEFENSE INDUSTRY SYSTEMS
BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Minister of Internal Affairs Željko Budimir stated that Srpska has much to be proud of in the field of defense industry and is exploring future directions for the development of its systems.
Budimir said that Republika Srpska, as one of 30 participating countries at the Partner 2025 International Arms Fair in Belgrade, presented advanced technologies in the defense sector. "We have much to be proud of when it comes to the defense industry. These include our vehicles, our pistol produced by TRB, the jet engine overhaul plant Orao, as well as Kosmos - our part of the defense system. Republika Srpska, together with others, is researching and considering in which direction to develop our systems," Budimir told reporters in Belgrade. He emphasized the importance of Srpska standing alongside Serbia and continuing to follow Belgrade's policy of military neutrality. "That is why it is important for Serbia's defense industry and the entire defense system to develop, so that they can ensure freedom, peace, and stability for Serbia and the Serb people in the years ahead," Budimir stressed.
