SUPPORT OF GOVERNMENT OF SERBIA TO ACTIVITIES OF ANURS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 27 /SRNA/ – The President of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska /ANURS/ Dragoljub Mirjanić and the Prime Minister of Serbia Đuro Macut emphasized during the meeting in Banja Luka that cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska is of vital importance, and that science, research, art and culture are areas that contribute to the overall strengthening and development of society.

Macut and Mirjanić discussed future scientific and technical cooperation and cooperation in the field of arts, which takes place on the basis of the Agreement on Special and Parallel Relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska, ANURS announced. The Prime Minister of Serbia expressed the Government’s full readiness to support all scientific-research and artistic activities in Republika Srpska, and especially support the activities of ANURS. The President of ANURS particularly emphasized the long-standing cooperation and support of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts to the Republika Srpska Academy of Sciences and Arts through joint projects in various fields.
