KOVAČEVIĆ: SDS AND OPPOSITION WEREN'T LOOKING FOR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, BUT FOR SOMEONE WILLING TO LOSE ELECTIONS

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 28 /SRNA/ – Branko Blanuša is a nice man, but that doesn't change the fact that the SDS and the opposition weren't actually looking for a candidate for President of the Republic – they were just looking for someone who doesn't mind losing the elections, said SNSD spokesperson Radovan Kovačević.

"There were many interested opposition ‘champions’ while they believed they would be running alone. Everything changed the moment they heard that SNSD might also enter the race," Kovačević posted on X. After that, he emphasized, "all the brave heroes suddenly disappeared and looked down in defeat." The SDS Main Board decided at today’s session in Banja Luka that Branko Blanuša will be the party's candidate for the early presidential election of Republika Srpska on November 23.
