PAREŽANIN: PRESIDENT DODIK DEMONSTRATES STRENGTH, MEASURED NOT ONLY BY POLITICS BUT ALSO BY FAITH IN PEOPLE

BILEĆA, SEPTEMBER 30 /SRNA/ - Bileća Mayor Miodrag Parežanin told SRNA that Milorad Dodik has demonstrated strength measured not only by politics, but also by his faith in the people.

"At the time they tried to weaken him, they actually revealed how strong Republika Srpska is. Every pressure directed at him was perceived by the people as an attack on their freedom and dignity," Parežanin emphasized. Parežanin told SRNA that those who believed they could break the will of one man through political games, staged court proceedings, and external pressures failed to understand that they were not attacking only Dodik, but the idea he represents, and that idea is the life force of Republika Srpska. "Christian Schmidt, without electoral legitimacy, is trying to impose his will, but neither he nor his associates can decide the fate of the freedom of a people. In those moments, Dodik was not alone. Behind him stood the people, with all their fears, hopes, and faith that the struggle is for a fairer and freer future. And it was this unity that gave new strength to him and to all of us," Parežanin emphasized. He added that Republika Srpska has repeatedly demonstrated that it does not yield to external pressures. "The idea of freedom and statehood cannot be suppressed by court decisions or political orders coming from outside. It is a value that is continuously affirmed in institutions, at elections, and in the everyday life of our people. That is why it is important to emphasize that the SNSD and President Dodik remain the pillars of this struggle, for in them the people recognize determination and responsibility. And where there is the trust of the people, there is also the certainty that this idea will continue to prevail," Parežanin said.
