ATTEMPTED DISTRUCTION OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA FAILED
SOCHI, SEPTEMBER 30 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has stated today in Sochi that attempts to destroy Republika Srpska over the past 30 years have failed, but remaining in BiH is detrimental for the Serb people.
Dodik has emphasized that Republika Srpska will continue to grow stronger. "With this, I'm showing that the most important thing is not a political position, but commitment, and I would like to see a million Serbs, except those from the opposition, to live the life of Republika Srpska and think about what I have given to this republic today," Dodik said. Dodik, who is the leader of the SNSD, says that BiH is a framework that the SNSD is not interested in, as it has proven dysfunctional and all efforts related to it are failure. "More than 30 years have passed since the Dayton Peace Agreement. Those were 30 years of attempted destruction of Republika Srpska by the Muslims and the international community. Imagine that every day, 24 hours, seven days a week, every month, all these years," Dodik told the press from Republika Srpska. Dodik says Republika Srpska is an oasis of peace, stability, and development. "Look at Germany, the USA, and all the other powerful countries, which are stereotypically seen as successful – they all have their own problems," Dodik said, adding that Republika Srpska managed to survive under impossible conditions. He stated that only time will show what this generation of politicians has accomplished and what will still be done in the next 10 years, as he plans to remain politically active for that long. "I will oppose the Sarajevo politicians. I will not let it breathe. It will go to hell. Not with weapons, but with the political will of the Serb people. They cannot force an entire people to live with them. It's like a failed marriage and what do we see? We see unhappy children. Well, we will not leave our children unhappy," said Dodik. He emphasized that he is proud of the younger generations who have no connection to Sarajevo, and that everything he does is for them. "Not for these traitors /Milan/ Milićević, /Mladen/ Bosić, /Marinko/ Božović. This is a time when global issues are being resolved, and we must not miss even a moment to resolve our own," Dodik stressed. Dodik has warned that there will be no Serb people left in BiH in 20 years if Republika Srpska does not grow strong enough to become independent. "I'm doing this because of a portion of the voters, very sincerely. I have not a single moment of doubt. If they wanted an enraged Milorad Dodik – well, they got him!" said the president of Republika Srpska. Dodik, who is also the SNSD leader, says the party will continue working strongly on the ground, together with coalition partners. "I respect our coalition partners and am grateful to them, despite some internal disagreements, for always knowing that the interests of Republika Srpska must not be compromised," Dodik said. He also stated that the legacy of Christian Schmidt must not be upheld and that everyone should follow what was passed by the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. "The Muslims won't do that. They want to settle scores with the Serbs. They think it's over. The only thing that's over is BiH. You can put me on trial as much as you want. BiH is the most hated word I can utter. There is no life in it for Serbs," emphasized Dodik. He recalled the time more than 30 years ago when the Dayton Peace Agreement was being drafted and said that, in informal circles, it was said that BiH was created to stop the Muslims. "They said they didn't want a Muslim state in Europe, that they didn't want a breeding ground for radicalism. That was a lie, because they radicalized the Muslim factor in Europe in other ways – by allowing migrants to come. Today they continue this under the guise of EU accession," Dodik said, adding that the EU has lost all its advantages. Dodik emphasized that the EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, who recently visited BiH, only showed that she knows how to support Schmidt. He stated that BiH, where more than 1,000 mosques have been built and which has succeeded in dismantling the Dayton-based consensus, is not a country that should be left to future generations. "We will separate from you because we do not want to live with you," concluded Dodik.
