SERBIA HAS RIGHT TO POINT TO DAYTON PEACE AGREEMENT VIOLATIONS

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 1 /SRNA/ – Serbia has the right to point out violations of the Dayton Peace Agreement and to develop relations with Republika Srpska based on the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations, which does not mean it is interfering in BiH’s internal affairs, said Milorad Kojić, SNSD representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
Kojić emphasized that statements made by the head of BiH's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Saša Magazinović, are the height of hypocrisy, as that SDP representative himself interferes in internal affairs by engaging in such debates and accusing Serbia of something untrue. "It’s obvious that one must be a top-level hypocrite to accuse the country you once lived in of interfering in BiH’s internal affairs at a time when the political situation or crisis in Serbia is the topic of discussion, while serving as a deputy of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly," Kojić told SRNA. He stressed that Serbia, as a guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement, has the right to emphasize the need to respect this international treaty, which it has done consistently. "Serbia absolutely has the right, under the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations with Republika Srpska, to develop relations with Republika Srpska, which in no way means interference in BiH’s internal affairs. Serbia has fulfilled its obligations under the Dayton Peace Agreement, and everything it has done has been in accordance with the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations," Kojić explained. The SNSD MP believes that Magazinović feels the need to prove that he is more Bosniak than the late Alija Izetbegović in order to maintain his current political position and be triumphantly accepted by Bosniaks. "These are the so-called loyal Serbs who served the Muslims in the 1990s for the same kind of dirty work that Magazinović is doing, not just today, but continuously," Kojić added. Saša Magazinović, head of the BiH parliamentary delegation to the Council of Europe, during a plenary session on the political crisis in Serbia, accused Serbia of decades-long interference in BiH's internal affairs and claimed it poses a threat to peace and stability.
