SOCHI, OCTOBER 2 /SRNA/ - The introduction of a new era in global politics requires strategically avoiding risks and agilely seizing emerging opportunities to maintain the stability of individual states and the entire international system, it was said at the opening session of the final day of the Valdai Club Annual Meeting in Sochi, which is also attended by Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik.

The session emphasized, among other things, that the new era is characterized by a "polycentric" order with numerous powerful actors. This message is also the central topic of an open debate during which participants summarized the key discussions held in previous days. It was emphasized that the world order, particularly during the transition period and before a new balance is established, could become more chaotic and dangerous, paving the way to a multitude of diverse alliances and the inevitable growing uncertainty that follows. The participants concluded that the world is entering a post-Western era not only due to the rise of China, India, and other powers, but also because of the disintegration of the Western community. The Valdai Discussion Club is a renowned international forum that brings together leading experts in international relations, political scientists, economists, and journalists to discuss key global issues. The annual session is one of the most significant events of the Club, traditionally attracting considerable media attention due to its analytical depth and its influence on global public discourse.
