MAZALICA: VOTE IN ELECTIONS SHOULD BE MESSAGE TO SCHMIDT, COURT AND CEC OF BiH
BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 3 /SRNA/ - The Head of the SNSD Caucus in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Srđan Mazalica, told citizens that their vote in the early elections should send a message to those who brought Republika Srpska to its current situation.
"I believe that citizens will make the best decision. A vote in the elections carries the weight of a message that should be sent to those who brought us to this situation. These are Christian Schmidt, the Court of BiH, and the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH. We need to send that message back to them," Mazalica emphasized. He explained that the SNSD decided to participate in the early elections for the President of Republika Srpska due to the stability of the Republic, the overall situation, and to prevent potential crises. Mazalica emphasized that the SNSD will always seek a political response that is institutional and added that he believes the best decision was made regarding participation in the early elections for the President of the Republic. “This is the best decision for Republika Srpska, because the opposition did not accept the earlier conclusions of the National Assembly to boycott the elections. That is why we will have our own candidate, and that is Siniša Karan,” Mazalica said in the SRNA podcast. He said that the person proposed as Acting President of Republika Srpska will be someone active in politics and holding a high position in both the institutions and the party. “When this proposal is announced, it will be very logical to everyone,” Mazalica added. He stated that it is reasonable to expect the proposal to be submitted next week, and it should be thoroughly prepared and justified. The latest episode of the SRNA podcast, featuring Srđan Mazalica, the Head of the SNSD Caucus in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, will be available on our YouTube channel and social media tomorrow at 10:00.
