ČUBRILOVIĆ: KARAN - ANOTHER WINNING CHOICE

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA/ – DEMOS president Nedeljko Čubrilović stated that the ruling coalition unanimously supports Siniša Karan as its candidate for president of Republika Srpska, expressing his belief that this represents yet another winning choice.

Čubrilović said that Karan deserves the attention and support of both the coalition and the citizens of Republika Srpska. "We must approach this process seriously — and we have done so. We believe that if early elections are held, this coalition will not allow its harmony to be broken or for cohabitation to occur," Čubrilović said at a press conference in Banja Luka following a meeting of the ruling coalition. He said that Karan’s candidacy is a move that promotes cohesion, unity, and a better future for Republika Srpska. "These elections are not something we sought, nor are they being held in accordance with the law; they came about through the will of an individual, bringing us to the situation we are in. But taking a step that is forced does not mean it’s a wrong step. This time, I believe we have made the best possible decision by proposing Karan as our presidential candidate, " Čubrilović said.
