ŽUPLJANIN: DURAKOVIĆ IS PROVEN ENEMY OF SERB PEOPLE

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA/ – The President of the Organization of the Senior Officers of the Republika Srpska Army (RSA), Slobodan Župljanin, has stated that the Vice President of Srpska, Ćamil Duraković, is a proven enemy of the Serb people and everything that is Serbian.

Commenting on Duraković’s announcement that he would report a mural of RSA General Ratko Mladić, painted in the center of Banja Luka, to the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, Župljanin told SRNA that he is a trained hater of Serbs, who is bothered even by murals simply because they are connected to Serb history and the feelings Serbs have for their heroes. “No one will ever be able to file as many complaints as the Serb people have love for their heroes. No one from Republika Srpska is asking Ćamil not to consider Ratko Mladić a war criminal, but is a mural also a war criminal?” Župljanin asked. He also questioned whether the considerable money Duraković receives from Republika Srpska might be a criminal as well—would he report that, too? “No one is stopping Ćamil from hating, but hatred kills the one who hates. Instead of performing his constitutional duties in Republika Srpska—working toward reconciliation, coexistence, and possible cohabitation—he threatens by filing complaints with the BiH Prosecutor’s Office against a ‘mural,’” Župljanin pointed out. He noted that if Duraković does not want to work toward reconciliation, then he should at least find the strength to leave the Serbs and their heroes in peace.
