DODIK: BiH WAS BEING KILLED WITH EVERY ACT OF DISMANTLING DAYTON AGREEMENT

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 14 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that foreigners had destroyed BiH and made it an impossible country, emphasizing that every act of dismantling the Dayton Agreement has been killing BiH.

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 14 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that foreigners had destroyed BiH and made it an impossible country, emphasizing that every act of dismantling the Dayton Agreement has been killing BiH.

"The Dayton Agreement was a chance for BiH, but it has been dismantled and destroyed. With every act of dismantling Dayton, BiH was being killed. If you kill Dayton, you have killed BiH; that’s a completely clear connection," Dodik said. Dodik emphasized that BiH has a chance, but the prerequisite is respecting agreements, the Constitution, and the rule of law, and not having them imposed by a foreigner. "I defend the letter of Dayton, while they promote the spirit of Dayton. We live in a time when lies are truth, and truth is a lie. When we call for respect of the Dayton Agreement, we are accused of being anti-Dayton and told we don’t follow their rules. No, we respect a treaty, while you make your rules for yourselves," Dodik said in the latest documentary by Boris Malagurski. The President of Republika Srpska emphasized that he has never considered war, and that those who want it are trying to blame someone else. "Those who are dissatisfied - Muslims, are trying to stage a war situation, and I believe it would be a vengeful war on their part, but this is a game without any calculations," Dodik said. He stated that such a thing had never crossed his mind, and that even during the wars in the former Yugoslavia, he was on the side of peace, and that he has no reason to try to stage anything. Dodik said he is not worried because he knows he is on the right side, and he has the people behind him who have been electing him for 20 years.
