CVIJANOVIĆ: TIME TO FIND SOLUTION OR ACCEPT FACT THAT THERE IS NONE

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 19 /SRNA/ – The Serb BiH Presidency member, Željka Cvijanović, points to the three-decade-long privatization and usurpation of joint institutions by Bosniak politicians, emphasizing that the time has come either to find a solution or to accept the fact that there is none.

“They’ve been cheating, scheming, and lying for years. Some have even encouraged them in that, so we’ve left them waiting behind closed doors,” Cvijanović posted a comment on X. She stated that the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, Elmedin Konaković, unlawfully signed a lobbying contract on behalf of BiH, without ever receiving the consent of the Serb and Croat ministers. “This is in line with the three-decade-long privatization and usurpation of BiH joint institutions by Bosniak politicians,” Cvijanović added. According to her, what’s even worse is that they misled the American administration, even went so far as to boast in the media about involving the children of important U.S. officials in the process. “We in Republika Srpska play fair, and that’s why we believe that, in an environment of overwhelming local and foreign hypocrisy, the time has come either to find a solution or to accept that there isn’t one. This is our final offer - not because you in Sarajevo deserve it, but because we haven’t left some behind closed doors. Besides playing fair, we know exactly what we’re doing. Greetings from Republika Srpska!” Cvijanović stated. Federal news portals published a copy of the contract signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers on March 28 with a lobbying firm in the U.S., which Konaković claims for that this is “impossible,” as it would be “illegal if he had signed the contract”.
