LAKTAŠI, OCTOBER 22 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of Republika Srpska Vojin Mitrović emphasized today that Republika Srpska is politically stable and that, regardless of the claims made by political Sarajevo, it is a good place for investment.

"Republika Srpska offers favorable conditions for investors, and the opening of new companies shows that they are interested in investing in Srpska," Mitrović told reporters in Laktaši, where he, together with the Serbian Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović visited the PMP Drive Systems company. He emphasized that the relevant ministry will continue its policy of providing incentives to companies as a form of support for increasing workers’ wages and investing in new technologies. Mesarović emphasized that this major investment by the PMP Group is proof of the favorable investment climate in Republika Srpska, as well as its political stability. She called on investors to invest their capital in Serbia, as well as in Republika Srpska. The director of PMP "Drive System," Branislav Banjac, noted that this is an investment worth BAM 65 million and added that further investments are planned. He emphasized that the future of Republika Srpska’s economy lies in new technologies and thanked the city authorities in Laktaši for their support in making this investment possible. Banjac stated that the company currently employs around 40 people, and that number is expected to grow in the near future. After visiting Laktaši, Mitrović and Mesarović will tour the Banja Luka Brewery. The business forum "Serbia – Srpska 2025" is scheduled to take place at noon at the Administrative Center of the Republika Srpska Government.
