KAURIN: ŠUME WILL BE THE BEST COMPANY; WE WILL MEET PRIME MINISTER'S REQUIREMENTS
BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 24 /SRNA/ - Acting Director General of Šume Republike Srpske /Forests of Republika Srpska/ Blaško Kaurin told SRNA that the company is recording better results this year, emphasizing that a new strategic approach will enable financial stabilization and the fulfillment of the business plan, ensuring satisfaction among both employees and customers.
"The situation is significantly better compared to last year. At that time, the deficit stood at BAM 6.27 million, while this year it amounts to BAM 3.69 million. Last year, we had 20 forestry management units operating at a loss and 12 in profit. This year, after nine months, 14 units have reported a negative result, while 18 have shown a positive one," Kaurin said in SRNA's podcast. He emphasized that the company's improved performance was also due to a meeting convened earlier by President Milorad Dodik, who demanded accountability and a new approach to managing forestry units, adding that Prime Minister Savo Minić, who previously headed the ministry responsible for forests, has also played a significant role in the company’s consolidation. "The day will come when this company will be fully stable and the best in Republika Srpska. I have a clear vision of how to achieve that, of course, with the support of Prime Minister Minić. We started many things together, and I believe we will see them through to completion with him," Kaurin said. In the new episode of SRNA's podcast, Kaurin also talks about the new information system, the use and allocation of BAM 15 million guaranteed by the Government of Republika Srpska, sports competitions, and the Night Wolves Motorcycle Club, of which he is a member. The podcast, featuring Acting Director General of the Šume Republike Srpske Public Enterprise Blaško Kaurin will be available tomorrow from 10:00 on SRNA's service, YouTube channel, and social media platforms.
