SRPSKA BEING BUILT AND PROGRESSING

LAKTAŠI, OCTOBER 24 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska is being built, is progressing, and developing nowadays, emphasized President Milorad Dodik.

Dodik has highlighted that renowned factories are opening in Srpska nowadays and that it is ready to adapt its legislation to new economic conditions. “We will talk with all investors here to find the best new legislation that will be stimulating,” Dodik said, adding that without economic development, there is no life. Dodik, who was a member of the first convocation of the National Assembly, asserted that today’s Republika Srpska is incomparably different from what it was 34 years ago, when the republican parliament was founded. According to him, Srpska has stabilized its political system, its social and societal fabric, as well as its finances, fiscal, budgetary, and economic systems. “It is not at war as it was in those years, and it is not under the enormous pressure that existed in 1991. Today, we are stable – we work, we build, we progress, we develop,” Dodik told the press in Laktaši. In regard to EU accession, Dodik emphasized that what is ours must be respected instead of using Brussels’ measures to centralize BiH. “We do not want a unitary BiH in which Muslims would be a dominant majority. We are Christians and here we feel most strongly what rampant Muslim nationalism means. We live here; we have nothing against their faith, but we do not allow them to intrude into our yard and cross the line of our values,” Dodik said. He added that Republika Srpska is following its own path, one that does not provoke anyone. “We strive every day to be better – that is what Republika Srpska is,” Dodik emphasized.
