BOOK "THE AGE OF ISLAMISM AND TERROR - BOSNIA, A SPRINGBOARD FOR GLOBAL TERRORISM" BY DŽEVAD GALIJAŠEVIĆ PRESENTED
BELGRADE, OCTOBER 27 /SRNA/ – The book "The Age of Islamism and Terror – Bosnia, a Springboard for Global Terrorism" by Dževad Galijašević was presented today at the Belgrade Book Fair, in which Galijašević factually and with documentation points out that BiH has for decades been a base for global terrorists, something political Sarajevo, to whom their presence is convenient, as well as the West, continue to sweep under the rug.
The editor of the "Fakti" portal Đuro Bilbija said at the presentation that in this monumental work Galijašević turns on the light and the spotlight directed toward political Sarajevo, but also toward those standing behind it, and demystifies why there is so much silence surrounding the problem of Islamic terrorists establishing their base in BiH. "This is a wake-up call and a very valuable document. BiH is a springboard for global terrorism, and Galijašević is an especially fearless man who dares to speak about it", Bilbija stated. Galijašević stressed that the presence of radical Islamists and terrorism represents a major problem for Republika Srpska, as it is intertwined with Bosniak political goals. He pointed out that it is impossible for more than 100 settlements inhabited by such groups to exist in BiH without the support of the Bosniak population. "What they are building in their Wahhabi settlements is intended to protect the Bosniaks in some future dramatic times", Galijašević said, expressing hope that his book would make a significant contribution to the study of this phenomenon. He emphasized that the book places special focus on the connection between Syria and BiH, noting that it is particularly interesting to know the fact that Syria, after World War II, helped the Muslim fascists the same way Argentina and South America did help the Croatian Ustashas. He noted that the book is rich in documentation and that one document, adopted by the U.S. Congress following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, mentions mujahideen from BiH who participated in the attacks, as well as Khalid Sheikh Mohammed as the chief planner of the attacks on the United States. "He is currently incarcerated in Guantanamo, but it is not mentioned that he was a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 2006. As of the time he was planning the first attack on the Twin Towers in New York in 1993, he had already been issued a personal identification number and documents in Sarajevo, and in 1995 he settled in Zenica", Galijašević stated.
