SANU - ANURS COOPERATION CONTINUES TO GROW

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ – The cooperation between the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts /SANU/ and the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska /ANURS/ has been steadily increasing over the past years, noted the presidents of the two institutions, Zoran Knežević and Dragoljub Mirjanić, today.

ANURS stated that during the meeting in Belgrade, it was highlighted that a series of scientific and artistic activities had been carried out based on the Bilateral Cooperation Agreement. "As a result of these activities, a large number of scientific conferences, symposiums, exhibitions, and publications were jointly organised," the statement said. Mirjanić presented Knežević with the Encyclopedia of Republika Srpska from the first to the sixth volume. It was agreed that by the end of the year, the ANURS–SANU cooperation programme would be renewed, specifying joint activities for a three-year period. ANURS's delegation also included Vice President Duško Vulić.
