KALABUKHOV: BiH COURT AND CEC DISCREDITED THEMSELVES

SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 31 /SRNA/ – The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to BiH Igor Kalabukhov told SRNA that the crisis of legitimacy surrounding the High Representative is spreading like a virus to the work of BiH institutions, emphasizing that the Court of BiH and the Central Election Commission /CEC/ have discredited themselves through their decisions regarding President Milorad Dodik, as they acted on the basis of moves made by the illegitimate Christian Schmidt.

Kalabukhov said that the decisions of the Court of BiH and the CEC related to Dodik are invalid because they are based on false decisions. "When you build a building on false foundations, there is no guarantee it will stand," the Russian ambassador noted. Kalabukhov says the principled nature of this position means that Russia would not recognise any decision of the Court concerning any politician in BiH, because such decisions are founded on false assumptions. On the other hand, he added, this situation also discredits both the Court and the CEC of BiH because they base their rulings on false grounds. "That is why this ongoing crisis, the crisis of legitimacy of the High Representative, is spreading like a virus to the functioning of BiH institutions. This is yet another negative aspect of the situation," Kalabukhov pointed out.
