DODIK: SANCTIONS WERE INJUSTICE TO SRPSKA

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 31 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that the US sanctions were an injustice to Republika Srpska and that the United States is rehabilitating its strategic value through its presence in these areas.

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 31 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that the US sanctions were an injustice to Republika Srpska and that the United States is rehabilitating its strategic value through its presence in these areas.

Dodik pointed out that the sanctions were not just a measure, but that they represented a sense of injustice that had been burdening everyone in Republika Srpska for a long time. He pointed out that he understands that there are now some new people in the US who understand the reality and who have seen how big a problem it is that the US was losing its influence in the world due to the inconsistent and bad, decadent behavior of the previous administration. Dodik said that he wants to contribute to the fact that America, as a powerful and strong country, through its presence in this area, rehabilitates some of its strategic value in the sense that it is objective, that it is not the world's policeman, that it is not the world's executor, but that it is someone with whom one should and must cooperate. "It should be viewed in this respect," Dodik emphasized for RTRS. He added that he does not feel victorious in the matter of the lifting of sanctions because enormous damage has been done to Republika Srpska. "But if there is any small satisfaction, it is the lifting of sanctions, which we knew would happen one day - and that day has come. Thank you to all the people and the new American administration. Thank you to Trump - we listen to what he says and we can see through our case that what he says, he does," Dodik concluded.
