ŠPIRIĆ: CONCEPT OF THE OPPOSITION IS REBELLION, AS THEY HAVE NO ELECTORAL LEGITIMACY

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 3 /SRNA/ - The Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Nikola Špirić said that rebellion is the concept of the opposition parties, as they lack electoral legitimacy.

Špirić called for patiently moving things forward on the European path until the 2026 elections. "Who will be in power after that, whether it will be a troika, a five-member, or a six-member coalition, no one knows. Let it be whoever," Špirić said, adding that until that date, electoral legality and legitimacy must be respected, as everything else is anarchy. Commenting on the statement by MP Nenad Vuković, who said that the blockade of the House of Peoples could be resolved through demonstrations, Špirić reminded that Vuković graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education. "He's a PE graduate. Strength rules the log, but wisdom rules the world. I have the feeling that many people weren’t home when God was handing out brains," Špirić said.
