DODIK: FOOTBALL AND SPORTS COMMUNITY HAVE LOST A GREAT MAN

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said, following the death of coach Mladen Žižović, that his knowledge, talent and dedication to football left an indelible mark on sports in Banja Luka, Republika Srpska and the region.

"Football and the entire sports community in the region have lost a great man today. I received with great sadness the news of the sudden death of coach Mladen Žižović," Dodik posted on the social network X. He expressed his deepest condolences to Žižović’s family, friends, and all those with whom he shared his sporting journey and the football field. The coach of the Kragujevac Football Club Radnički 1923, Mladen Žižović, passed away today at the age of 45 after falling ill during the 14th-round match of the Serbian Super League against Mladost in Lučani. Žižović was born in Rogatica and will be remembered as the coach of Borac Banja Luka, with whom he achieved a place in the European Conference League last season.
