BERKOVIĆI, NOVEMBER 6 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić has said today that he is impressed by the construction and technical design of the supply tunnel of the Dabar Hydropower Plant /HPP/, which is project the entire Srpska is proud of.
After a presentation of the tunnel works, Minić emphasized that it is an extremely demanding and engineeringly perfect system, designed to enable multiple use of water for electricity production. "I am impressed by the construction itself, which represents the pinnacle of engineering knowledge," Minić said, adding that this is one of the most important energy facilities in Republika Srpska. He congratulated the contractors and the experts who participated in the implementation of the project, noting that the HPP Dabar tunnel is among the most complex region-wide. "Together with our Chinese partners, we have created a project that will produce electricity in the most optimal way, regardless of the amount of water," the prime minister of Srpska emphasized. He stated that such projects should be promoted more widely, as they are examples showing that Republika Srpska is being built and developed in a modern and technologically advanced way. "This is a structure every citizen of Srpska should be proud of, whether they live in Herzegovina, Krajina, or Posavina. It will not only develop the region but will also become a subject of professional study," Minić said. The Dabar Hydropower Plant is one of the key facilities within the Upper Horizons system, whose construction represents one of the largest investment ventures in the energy sector of Republika Srpska.
