STEVANOVIĆ: GOAL IS TO INTENSIFY WORK ON HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION SITES

VUKOSAVLJE, NOVEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Government has set a clear goal, to intensify work on all highway construction sites in Republika Srpska, the Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska, Zoran Stevanović, said today in Bijeljina.

“This means that, in addition to securing funding, we need to ensure the rest of the documentation is completed daily. The section we are currently at has a construction permit for 10 plus seven kilometers, and in the next few days, we need to secure a construction permit for the entire route. That is why we are working on all sections, so that tomorrow we do not face problems of this kind,” Stevanović said. During his visit to the Vukosavlje–Brčko section, he emphasized that work is progressing at full capacity, and the goal is that by the end of next year, practically every section of the Banja Luka–Belgrade highway, as well as the Banja Luka–Bijeljina–Rača section, will either be in the final phase of construction or at least have construction work started. “That means a closed financial cycle, obtained construction permits, and the contractor fully engaged in the project,” Stevanović clarified. The Deputy General Director for BiH of the construction company China State, Xu Wen Chao, said that he is very satisfied with the progress of the work. “Everything is going according to plan, so our goal is to continue working even faster and complete everything on schedule,” he said.
