BANJA LUKA, November 8 /SRNA/ - Branko Blanuša, the SDS candidate for President of Republika Srpska, kicked off his election campaign today with a press conference, emphasizing that the people of Srpska deserve to live with dignity.

He announced that, if given the support of the citizens, he would propose a series of laws that would enable the prosecution of major corruption cases and ensure full transparency in all public tenders. Blanuša also stated that he would propose a law on strategic assets of national interest, which would ensure public and transparent management of resources, underscoring that the interests of Republika Srpska must not be traded. Acting SDS President Jovica Radulović said the campaign is being launched in front of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, the legislative and constitutional body, and that they are aiming for victory. PDP President Draško Stanivuković stated that these elections are about choosing a new value system and a different approach to governing Republika Srpska, adding that Blanuša is a decent and honest man. Igor Mandić from the List for Justice and Order said Blanuša is the right choice for responsible and domestic-style management of public resources. Željko Dubravac from the People's Front stated that electing Blanuša would mean a complete departure from lawlessness, poverty, and captured institutions.
