TWO LIGHT SENTENCES, TWO ACQUITTALS FOR CRIMES AGAINST CAPTURED RSA SOLDIERS
SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – The Court of BiH today, in a first-instance judgment, sentenced Hamza Selimović to three years in prison for war crimes committed against captured members of the Republika Srpska Army /RSA/, and Ramiz Mićivoda to two years in prison.
Ćamil Ramić and Mehmed Dobrača were acquitted of all counts of the indictment. The accused Ćamil Ramić, Himzo Selimović, Ramiz Mićivoda, and Mehmed Dobrača were charged with committing war crimes against captured RSA members between October 1992 and November 1995, as soldiers of the so-called Army of BiH, in the areas of Rudo, Višegrad, Goražde, and Foča.
