SNSD CALLS ON CITIZENS NOT TO FALL FOR MANIPULATIONS: A VOTE FOR KARAN IS A VOTE FOR DODIK, FOR SRPSKA, AND A VOTE AGAINST SCHMIDT

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 20 /SRNA/ - The SNSD strongly condemns and draws attention to a deliberate campaign aimed at misleading voters, which has in recent days been carried out across Republika Srpska through guerrilla-style poster plastering and the distribution of messages calling on people to "supplement" the ballot and write in Milorad Dodik's name instead of voting for Siniša Karan.

The SNSD emphasizes that this is a desperate move by those who have, for years, been unable to defeat Milorad Dodik, and who are now trying to influence the election result through deceit, sabotage, and manipulation - to obtain by fraud what they have never been able to achieve through politics, programs, or the trust of the people "This is not any kind of `people's call,` nor is it any kind of `fight against Schmidt.` This is an organized campaign against the SNSD, against Milorad Dodik, and against Siniša Karan, with only one goal – to increase the number of invalid ballots and deceive the people of Republika Srpska. The SNSD sends a clear message: There is only one name on the ballot that represents the policy of Milorad Dodik – the name of Siniša Karan. Only a vote for Siniša Karan is a vote for Milorad Dodik, a vote for Republika Srpska, and a vote against Schmidt,” the SNSD emphasizes in a press release. "Everything else, every message scribbled on a piece of paper, every sticker, every attempt at sabotage, is part of the same operation, whose authors are well-known: structures that cannot overcome the strength of the people, so they try to defeat the people through deceit," the SNSD states. The SNSD calls on citizens not to fall for these tricks, to approach the elections calmly, responsibly, and with dignity, and to send the strongest message that Republika Srpska can send by voting for Siniša Karan.
