KARAN: DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS SHOW REPUBLIC’S STRENGTH

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 23 /SRNA/ – SNSD candidate in the snap presidential elections in Republika Srpska Siniša Karan says that by voting in the elections, citizens contribute to the legal, legitimate, and constitutional strengthening of the institutions and Republika Srpska in general, which should remain peaceful and stable.

"In this way, we secure a better future and prosperity for everyone living in Republika Srpska," Karan told the press in Banja Luka after voting at the polling station in the Rosulje neighborhood. He says that elections are an opportunity to see the will of the citizens, as well as to reinforce peace and stability. Karan expresses satisfaction that the snap elections are taking place in a democratic and fair atmosphere. "This shows the capacity of our people and our citizens to exercise one of their greatest rights - the right to vote in a democratic, constitutional, legal, and legitimate manner, thereby strengthening the rule of law," Karan said. Snap presidential elections were held today in Republika Srpska, where 1,264,364 voters were eligible to vote.
