CEC: TURNOUT BY 15:00 AT 26 PERCENT

SARAJEVO, NOVEMBER 23 /SRNA/ – Voter turnout in the snap election for President of Republika Srpska reached 26 percent by 15:00, the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH announced.

By 15:00, a total of 322,239 voters had cast their ballots at regular polling stations, the Commission said in a statement. At an emergency session today, the CEC of BiH decided to postpone voting at polling station 068B005 in Korićani, in the basic electoral unit Kneževo, as it was not possible to conduct the election there in accordance with the provisions of the BiH Election Law and the Rulebook on the Conduct of Elections in BiH. The postponed voting will be held on Sunday, November 30. The CEC of BiH will publish the first preliminary results tonight by 23:00 on its website: www.izbori.ba
