MATIJAŠEVIĆ: KARAN'S ELECTION IS STRATEGIC NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 24 /SRNA/ – Darko Matijašević, president of the movement "Defense of Srpska," stated that the election of Siniša Karan as the President of Republika Srpska represents a strategic national victory.

"Republika Srpska is facing enormous challenges. With Karan's victory, the strong national and rational policy that has a proven state-building foundation for Republika Srpska within Dayton BiH continues," Matijašević told SRNA. He emphasized that Karan will perform the duties of president of Republika Srpska professionally and responsibly. "We call on all nationally responsible, patriotic, and intellectual forces to ensure national unity under the current circumstances," Matijašević added. He assessed that the most significant goals should be peace, stability, and prosperity in Republika Srpska, in BiH, and beyond. "The policy and leadership of President Milorad Dodik and President-elect Karan provide security and a guarantee of stability, well-being, and development for everyone, regardless of nationality or faith," Matijašević said.
