FESTIVAL ON MEĆAVNIK WRAPS UP WITH "RT. DOK: TIME OF OUR HEROES"

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 24 /SRNA/ – The documentary film festival "RT. Dok: The Time of Our Heroes" concluded with a ceremony on Mećavnik in Mokra Gora, where the production Russia Today presented a series of films.

Festival visitors were able to see the premiere of “Italian Resistance” by Yekaterina Yakovleva and Oleg Nekishev. The program also featured Tatiana Borshch's film "Donbas. Children," as well as "The Dayton Agreement: Peace on the Scales" by Vitaly Buzuyev and Mikhail Burov, which examines the legacy of this peace accord. As part of the festival, which opened on Saturday, November 22, additional screenings included "Sam. Field. Warrior" by Ruslan Gusarov and Artyom Somov, Olga Kiriy's "I Accuse Fascism," and "Island of Faith" by Olga Kiriy and Artyom Somov, the Grand Prix winner of the Radonezh festival. During the closing ceremony, the birthday of Serbian film director Emir Kusturica was also celebrated. He received as a gift a portrait of Peter the Great, presented on behalf of the "Hermitage Days in Belgrade" event, and Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandr Botsan-Kharchenko sent him a birthday greeting. "I am pleased that through your dedication, talent, and numerous successful projects, you contribute to strengthening the brotherly relations between the peoples of Russia and Serbia. I greatly value our cooperation and look forward to its continuation in the future," Botsan-Kharchenko said, as reported by Sputnik.
