NO REASON TO CELEBRATE CONCEPT OF BROTHERHOOD AND UNITY, TIME HAS PASSED BY
PALE, NOVEMBER 25 /SRNA/ – The Creators of Republika Srpska Association has rejected any possibility that Republika Srpska might accept November 25 as a joint holiday of the Federation of BiH and Republika Srpska, stating that there is no reason to celebrate anything resembling the old concept of "brotherhood and unity," which, they say, time has overtaken the past 30 years.
"This relic of the past may have had some meaning as long as BiH, then `a small Yugoslavia,` had not, through the unprincipled alliance of Muslims and Croats and by outvoting Serbian deputies, seceded from the joint Yugoslav state," the Association stated. The Creators of Republika Srpska emphasized that the entire post-Dayton history of the "new" BiH demonstrates how, through continuous revision of the Dayton Agreement, Western globalists, high representatives, and Bosnian unitarians have sought to impose the political will of only one majority Muslim nation, contrary to the will and interests of the other two nations, especially the Serb people. For this reason, the statement continues, there is no basis today to celebrate anything resembling "brotherhood and unity," which the last three decades have long since been passed by the time. The Association stated that the Federation of BiH is free to celebrate and glorify whatever it chooses, while Republika Srpska has its own holidays - beginning with January 9 - and will defend and observe them regardless of threats or pressure. The Creators of Republika Srpska" added that all individuals and institutions who continue to safeguard the peace, stability, and prosperity of Republika Srpska, its institutions, and its citizens will continue to have the support of those who founded Republika Srpska. "We will not accept yours, and we will not give up ours. That is also our message from the 12th Assembly of the Creators of Republika Srpska Association, held today, November 25, in Pale," the statement emphasizes. The former ZAVNOBiH Day, November 25, is marked as a so-called Statehood Day in parts of the Federation of BiH with a predominantly Bosniak population, while Croats do not mark it as a holiday.
