BUDAPEST, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – The Minister for Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan stated that the excellent political relations between Republika Srpska and Hungary will continue, as confirmed today by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

"We are even more strongly on the path of friendship that Prime Minister Orbán and President Milorad Dodik have laid. We have a stable government structure in Republika Srpska, which can give an even stronger impulse to this cooperation," Karan told journalists in Budapest after the Republika Srpska leadership meeting with Orbán. He emphasized that the cooperation is multifaceted, strategic, and already recognized in agriculture and energy, and it will also develop in other areas. "We have received strong assurances that Hungary will continue to be our strategic friend and that our relations are completely unburdened. There are many conditions to further develop the friendship between the two peoples, for mutual benefit," Karan underscored. He expressed confidence that future developments will only show that relations between Republika Srpska and Hungary will strengthen in every respect. Karan also noted that Orbán was the first statesman to congratulate the SNSD on its victory in the early presidential elections in Republika Srpska.
