DODIK DEMANDS RESPECT FOR SRPSKA IN TALKS
BUDAPEST, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated that Brussels’ approach to Republika Srpska and BiH is humiliating, emphasizing that Srpska is ready for dialogue but wants to be respected.
"If they want talks with us, they will have to respect us. They are trying to organize a high-level political meeting in early December. What is the political level of Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement?" Dodik asked. Speaking to reporters in Budapest, Dodik said that even such a meeting would not succeed. "They can have a meeting with the Muslims if they want. They must respect us and talk seriously. Our first question at that meeting would be: Is what Christian Schmidt did in BiH part of EU legal heritage? If it is, then all discussions are over; if not, when will you resolve this problem? If you do not intend to resolve it, you have no interlocutor in us," Dodik emphasized. He added that from Brussels he hears a humiliating narrative toward BiH, implying that one can be an EU member but without having a say. "We must think carefully about what we gain from the EU, because they could send us into one of their future wars," Dodik warned.
