DODIK: ORBÁN IS VOICE OF REASON
BUDAPEST, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that Republika Srpska has had excellent cooperation with Hungary for years, and is grateful to Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for being the voice of reason.
"We hold Hungary in high regard. Republika Srpska is open to Hungarian investments, and we already have several completed projects in education and agriculture," Dodik said in a lecture at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in Budapest. He emphasized that energy is the key issue, noting that studies indicate electricity consumption will be ten times higher in 25 years. "Everything we do in this field, we will do together with the Hungarian energy sector, and we discussed this today with Prime Minister Orbán," Dodik said. He added that he is grateful to Orbán for approving more than 20 scholarships for students from Republika Srpska. "It has been agreed that a new student dormitory will be built in Budapest for students from Srpska. Due to strong political relations, the interest of our students in coming here is increasing," Dodik said. Answering questions from the audience, Dodik stated that Muslims seek to dominate BiH and violate the Dayton Agreement and the BiH Constitution, which define BiH as consisting of two entities and three constituent peoples. Dodik also said that Republika Srpska has gone through a difficult period during which high representatives imposed decisions they were not authorized to make under the Dayton Agreement. "The High Representative had no right to issue executive decisions, let alone laws, yet that is what he did," Dodik said.
