DODIK: SZIJJÁRTÓ IS DISTINGUISHED RECIPIENT OF HONORARY DOCTORATE

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER /27 SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has stated today in Banja Luka that university honorary doctorates are awarded to distinguished and talented individuals, and one of them is Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

"We are very proud of everything we have achieved and of the cooperation between Republika Srpska and Hungary. I ask you to carry the best memories of this day because we want it to be remembered. Fourteen people have received honorary doctorates from the University of Banja Luka, which shows they are not given lightly," Dodik said at a press conference following the ceremony where Szijjártó received the honorary doctorate. Dodik noted that Szijjártó applies everything necessary to succeed in his work. "Thanks to Hungary for their support and for the position that in official Brussels, one should talk to people, not about people. This is also the position of Republika Srpska!" Dodik said. He emphasized that Republika Srpska is very proud to count Szijjártó as a friend. "We will continue implementing significant projects. There will be excellent support for 50 students from Republika Srpska who will study in Hungary. Many students from Europe choose to study in Hungary because the country preserves traditional values - nation, state, family, and religion," Dodik said. He also pointed out that Hungary has no migrants or groups that disrupt state structures. "This is a responsible politics of the Hungarian government led by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Szijjártó. Republika Srpska knows what injustice is, and that is why I am proud of our Hungarian friends who have endured everything," Dodik stressed.
