WHY DOES NERMIN NIKŠIĆ NOT DISTANCE HIMSELF FROM SHAMEFUL CHANTING?

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 1 /SRNA/ – Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac stated that what happened in Sarajevo's Skenderija arena during the basketball game between the national teams of BiH and Serbia was a manifestation of Serbophobia, chauvinism and hooliganism, and asked whether the lack of reaction from political Sarajevo is a sign of approval.

Košarac pointed out that political Sarajevo remains silent even today about the most primitive outbursts, scandalous chanting, provocations and insults directed at Serbian players. "Not even Nermin Nikšić, the Federation's prime minister and the leader of a party that likes to boast about being supposedly multiethnic, has spoken up," Košarac said. He added that the SDP's version of multiethnicity means that only their decorative Serbs in Sarajevo are considered good and acceptable, as long as they are suitable when Serb positions need to be taken. "Nikšić was at the game last night. Why does he not distance himself from this disgraceful incident? Why does he not publicly, clearly and loudly condemn the hooliganism, insults and fanaticism?" Košarac asked. He questioned whether the absence of any reaction is a silent approval. "Let that be on their conscience. We are proud of the Serbian national team, which maintained sportsmanship and dignity," Košarac wrote on Instagram. The Serbian players were met with hostility last night in Sarajevo. BiH fans whistled during the Serbian national anthem "Bože pravde" /`O God of Justice`/ and waved wartime flags of the so-called Army of BiH, under which numerous crimes were committed against the Serb people. During the first half, insults targeting Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Serbia could also be heard from the stands.
