KOJIĆ: DESPITE THREATS, I WILL CONTINUE TO EXPOSE TRUTH ABOUT SERB SUFFERING

SREBRENICA, DECEMBER 3 /SRNA/ - President of the Srebrenica Organization of Families of Captured and Fallen Soldiers and Missing Civilians Branimir Kojić stated that he has again received insulting messages and threats, but that this will not intimidate him or stop him from continuing to speak the truth about the suffering of Serbs during the war.

Kojić says it is incomprehensible that in the offensive messages sent via social media, he is being called a "genocide perpetrator, " even though he lost his father in the war and was only five years old at the beginning of the conflict. He added that he has reported this latest incident to the police. "The continued pressure on all those who speak about the suffering of Serbs is a mantra coming from the Federation of BiH, with the intention of silencing anyone who dares to speak the truth," Kojić told SRNA. He said it is devastating that today in BiH anyone can insult and threaten others and face no consequences, just as those who committed crimes against Serbs remain unpunished. "Meanwhile, the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH are very prompt when it comes to indicting and convicting Serbs under various imposed laws, while Muslims are largely tried under laws that prescribe lighter prison sentences," Kojić said. He added that, regardless of all the threats and insults, no one will intimidate him or silence him, because it is the sacred duty of every Serb to speak about the suffering of their people. Kojić emphasized that every /perpetrator of the/ crime has a name and a surname, and no one should hesitate to speak the truth. "Messages like these come almost every day, and the safety of my family and myself is endangered. That is why I am asking the institutions of Republika Srpska to protect all people who are going through such things," Kojić said. He asked whether, in a country for which his father gave his life, the families of the fallen should now fear for their safety, or wonder when SIPA will knock on their door with an indictment simply for speaking about the suffering of their loved ones. Kojić received a message from a Facebook profile under the name of a certain Izedin Braco Salihodžić, which, among other things, reads: "Genocide perpetrator. Give a photo or video of your heads being torn off…"
