GRMOJA: BAN HELEZ FROM ENTERING CROATIA
ZAGREB, DECEMBER 5 /SRNA/ – Croatian Parliament member Nikola Grmoja has called on state institutions to ban Zukan Helez, the Minister of Defence in the Council of Ministers of BiH, from entering Croatia due to hate speech against Croats.
"Helez continuously shows through his actions that he is not interested in dialogue or improving relations among peoples, but solely in spreading animosity and divisions," Grmoja stated, reacting to Helez’s remarks in which he called Member of the European Parliament Željana Zovko and Heritage Foundation senior research fellow Maks Primorac "ustaša bastards," claiming they are "filled with fascism" and that through "lies and Islamophobia" they are attempting to "open stories about redrawing BiH" and "facilitating aggressive and fascist ideas." Grmoja stressed that Croatia’s strategic national interest is full equality for Croats in BiH, and that, given current developments, "it is becoming increasingly clear that a third entity is the necessary minimum to achieve that equality." "Regardless of Zukan and those like him, I am confident that we will secure our equality and thus contribute to a more stable and orderly BiH," Grmoja said.
