DODIK CALLS FOR CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS AGAINST LAGUMDŽIJA

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 9 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik believes it is high time to launch the issue of criminal accountability of BiH's ambassador to the UN, Zlatko Lagumdžija, stressing that his actions against Republika Srpska demonstrate the collapse of BiH and its inability to function.

Dodik stated that Lagumdžija, acting outside the policy agreed upon in BiH and without a coordinated position of the BiH Presidency, voted last week in the UN General Assembly in favor of the resolution on "abducted" Ukrainian children. "Lagumdžija's conduct is unconstitutional. He is undermining BiH's foreign policy, creating constant obstruction to the functioning of the BiH Presidency, and introducing a practice of unacceptable behavior at the highest level of the world organization," Dodik wrote on the social network X. He emphasized that Republika Srpska opposes Lagumdžija's vote. "The Russian Federation is being falsely accused and blamed. Lagumdžija's position is his personal position and not the position of BiH. It is about time to initiate criminal accountability against him, and the procedures for this are already underway," Dodik said. The UN General Assembly adopted the disputed resolution on December 3, with 91 votes in favor, 12 against, 57 abstentions, and 33 absent. In other words, more than half, 102 of the 193 member states, rejected the document in one form or another. Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously said the resolution demanding the "urgent return of Ukrainian children" is full of lies and hypocrisy and turns reality upside down.
